Gubser's annual Food Drive will run from November 13 thru December 8. 

Acceptable food items are non-perishable store bought items (must have labels on all items).  No home canned or home made items. 

The pod who brings in the largest combined weight in food will earn a catered lunch.
Our school-wide goal is 6,000.

Super Hero Dress Up Day

Our first dress up day of this year is on Friday, September 29.  Our theme this month is Super Hero.  We look forward to see all our "super hero" students on Friday!

PTC Meeting Reminder

Dear Gubser Parents


Please come and participate in our first Parent Teacher Club meeting this Thursday September 28th at 6:30 in the Media Center.   We will be discussing the upcoming Jog-A-Thon, and other activities for the year. We will be checking in with our principal and a few of our teachers.


Everyone who attends will receive a raffle ticket to have a chance to win a little prize!  We will also have snacks and babysitting is provided.

17-18 Annual Notice for Statewide Tests

Please read the attached information regarding upcoming Statewide Tests.  Included in this information is opt-out option.

Description of rights:
House Bill 2655 permits parents and adult students to annually opt-out of Oregon's statewide summative tests in English Language Arts and Math by submitted an annual form to the school the student attends.  Schools will provide parents with the annual form for 2017-18 at least 30 days prior to the start of testing.  Visit this link to learn more about House Bill 2655: http//tinyurl.com/OR-HB2655.

Kindergarten Orientation

Thursday, August 31, 2017,  3:00-4:00 pm

Fall Kindergarten Orientation is fast approaching.  All families of new incoming kindergarten will not want to miss this important orientation. 

This orientation will provide you the opportunity to visit the school and meet the teachers and support staff.  You will also receive a kindergarten overview and have the opportunity to sign up for your child's required Literacy Assessment day.
